Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day return policy, giving you 30 days from the date your item is delivered to request a return.
Return Condition Requirements
Because everyday carry gear is meant to be evaluated for feel and function, items may be unboxed and inspected. However, to be eligible for a return, the item must be:

Unused and Uncarried: No signs of wear, scratches, pocket-clip tension, or field use.

Complete: Returned with all original packaging, inserts, documentation, and uncut tags intact.

Proof of Purchase: Accompanied by the original order number from your customer portal.
How to Start a Return (Automated Process)
To ensure the fastest processing times, Form & Function EDC partners directly with our brand fulfillment warehouses to handle returns. Please do not mail items back to the address listed on your shipping box.

Log into your customer account directly on our storefront using the email address you used at checkout.

Select the order and the specific items you wish to return, and click Request Return.

Once the automated request is approved by the brand partner, a prepaid return shipping label and routing instructions will be generated and sent directly to your account.

Print the label, pack your item securely, and ship it. It will be routed directly to the correct brand warehouse for inspection. Items sent back without first requesting a return via the customer portal will not be accepted.
Refunds & Processing Timeline
We will notify you via automated system notification once the partner warehouse has received and inspected your return.

Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed automatically back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

Bank Processing: Please note that financial institutions can take additional time to post the credit to your account.
Damages, Defective Items, and Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your gear immediately upon arrival. If an item is defective, damaged in transit, or the wrong item entirely, please submit a claim directly through your customer account portal within 3 days of delivery. Please include a clear photo of the issue so we can fast-track an automated replacement from our supplier.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to swap gear is to initiate a standard return for your original item via the portal, and place a separate, new order for the desired item on our storefront.
Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns, modifications, or order cancellations on the following items:

Custom & 3D-Printed Gear: Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our 3D-printed dump trays and valet trays, all sales on these specific items are final unless they arrive defective or damaged.

Consumables & Care Products: Any item categorized as a consumable, lubricant, cleaning solution, or maintenance fluid.

Final Sale: Clearance items marked as "Final Sale" or digital gift cards.
International Shipping & Returns
We currently only ship and process returns within the United States. We do not support international shipping, global forwarders, or international return routing at this time.
Why these specific tweaks protect you:

"Unused and Uncarried": This is the ultimate standard for EDC gear. It lets a customer hold a pen or feel the weight of a wallet, but protects you from getting back a knife that spent a week clipping into a pair of jeans or scraping boxes.

The International Boundary: Explicitly stating "US Only" prevents international buyers using freight-forwarding addresses from trying to force complex, expensive customs returns back onto your domestic suppliers.

The 3-Day Window for Damages: Forcing a quick check on broken or wrong items keeps your suppliers honest and ensures shipping damage claims are filed before the carrier's window closes.
